Postcard From 2025
Written in haste from Hartsfield Latoya Jackson Intergalactic Spaceport
Formerly known as a R.E.P.O.R.T., I’m switching up the format of this subscriber only letter — I truly want it to feel like a short and sweet postcard to you, my most dedicated readers.
Happy New Year, sweet friends. We’re starting off the year at the airport for our oldest’s birthday trip as has become tradition. But I wanted to send a short note of gratitude and give y’all a peak at what’s coming up in the year ahead as well as some reflections on the last year.
What’s In Store for 2026
Maybe you’ve noticed I’ve updated the name of our dear newsletter and added some new art work along with the change. I’m no longer Stir & Scribble as I’ve actually always been Meghan Splawn. It feels like a physical and metaphorical shedding of skin, in the best way possible. When I started this newsletter, I didn’t know what I wanted to share and I was in the midst of shutting down Didn’t I Just Feed You. Still I’m giving my past self a lot of gratitude for diving right in and trying lots of things out!
I’m really excited to share a personal project this year - both here and on YouTube focused on grocery budgeting! As a paid subscriber you’ll have access to all the content related to it including new recipes, digital and printable resources, plus some of the content you’ve come to love here. Dinner Tonight will continue as a free resource for all subscribers. I’ll share more about the how and why behind this project in the coming weeks.
